Nutritional Program For Your Horse
Take one to three cups of Timothy hay pellets from Standlee Hay Company, cover with 1/2 cup water and soak. This usually takes about 2 minutes.
Some horses do eat it dry, which is fine, but I water it a little to prevent choking. This is totally up to you and your horse.
Then pour a ¼ cup of apple cider vinegar mixed with water over the pellets , add 2 oz to 4 oz of the Big Sky Horse Minerals. If you have any supplements you want to add, you can.
If the weather is cold, I do add 1/4 cup of black oil sunflower seeds & a ¼ cup of barley,cracked corn or oats.
